Released on Friday 27th June, the fi lm stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji alongside four adorable child actors. The story is about Ranbeer, one of India’s top industrialists, who fi nds himself faced with a very peculiar and uncomfortable situation. In an unusual court verdict, he is ordered to look after four orphans. Ranbeer spends most his time alone and is not used to being around people let alone children. Unable to interact with the children, Ranbeer fi nds himself disliked by them and the children grow very unhappy living with him.
In their unhappiness the children pray to God for help and he does. He sends his most mischievous, childlike, lovable angel to the rescue, with a mission to bring Ranbeer and them together. Geeta (Rani Mukerji) comes bicycling down a rainbow… and bursts into Ranbeer’s house as the self-proclaimed new nanny and there starts the roller coaster ride of fun, emotions, magic and love!
Director Kunal Kohli, has not only directed and written this magical fi lm, but his company Kunal Kohli Productions has also co-produced it alongside Yash Raj Films. Commenting on the fi lm Kunal said “It’s a fi lm that conforms to the norms of Hindi commercial cinema but is also very different in its own way, it is fantasy, it is a love story, but it’s also very real and is a complete family entertainer”
The fi lm which also stars Rishi Kapoor and Amisha Patel sees Saif Ali Khan once again pair up with Rani Mukerji after the success of Hum Tum and Ta Ra Rum Pum to provide audiences with a fantastic family fi lm. Saif comments “It’s always great to work with Yash Raj Films and Kunal as they’re family, but what makes this fi lm very special is the fact that it’s not the kind of role I have ever attempted before, so I am looking forward to the reactions (hopefully positive) as I’ve worked very hard on the character.” |
